Download the app and get your account and computer approved. Then prepare the printer package and activate using your credit.
Start with the right app.
- Download the NOVAR 1.2.5 installer using the download button on this site.
- Install the app on a 64-bit Windows computer, then open NOVAR.
- Have an internet connection and a USB cable for your printer ready.
This download is the customer app. You will download the package for your printer model from inside NOVAR later.
Request credit right inside NOVAR.
Every request has a status you can track. Choose the model and quantity, then wait for the request to be reviewed before using the credit.
Submitting a request does not add credit immediately. Check its approval status and make sure the credit group matches your printer.

Sign in with an approved copy of the app, open the section, and refresh the model list.

What is NOVAR Chipless?
NOVAR activates supported printers for printing without ink chips, using a compatible package and account-based activation. Check your printer model and compatibility inside the app before starting.
Does registering activate both the app and the printer?
No. Registration requires approval, and the app on your computer needs approval too. Printer activation is a separate operation requiring suitable credit or a valid code, depending on the route available in NOVAR.
Does every printer need update mode?
Follow the instructions for your model’s package inside NOVAR. Use update mode only when the package requires it, then return the printer to normal mode before activation. Do not follow instructions intended for another model.
Does downloading a printer package use credit?
Downloading and opening a package does not use activation credit. Opening it requires an internet connection and an activated account. Check the cost shown by NOVAR when activating a printer.
Is activation guaranteed if my model is listed?
A listed model is included in the package catalog. Actual compatibility depends on printer identity, firmware, the available workflow, and account permissions. Follow the check results and instructions inside NOVAR.
Can I use the same credit for every model?
Credit is associated with the models and groups available to your account. The new A4 models use a separate group, and the T3100 / T5100 plotters also have their own credit group. Check your balance for the required model.
Can I reactivate without a new code?
Only when NOVAR offers it for a printer registered to your account and the full identity and record match. Another printer with the same serial number is not the same printer and may need a new activation.
I submitted a code request. Why hasn’t my balance changed?
The request remains pending until it is reviewed and approved. Refresh its status, then check your balance. If the connection was interrupted during submission, follow the saved request inside the app before creating another one.
What should I do if an operation stops or the result stays pending?
Read the displayed status and keep the request or operation number if one is shown. Do not start another activation just because the result has not appeared. Contact the NOVAR administrator through your established contact channel and send a description or the diagnostic report available in the app.
